Cyanogen raised $115 million by as many as 15 investors in the company. And on 24 December 2016 company announced that they are shutting down their services even for their latest Nightly builds CM 14.1.

But in a recent post on Lineage OS website they announced that they will be providing all the support to their all the versions of Cyanogen Mod with their new name tag.
