Cyanogen Shutting Down

Since Cyanogen was the best competition for Android in the OS market till the date which was providing support many old flagship devices which are left behind without any upgrade by smartphone companies. But Recently Company's co-founder announced that they are shutting down all of their services on 31 December 2016.

So, after 31 December 2016 there will be no support for Cyanogen Mod Custom ROM's i.e. CM-11, CM-12, CM-13, CM-14 and even the latest version of Cyanogen Mod CM-14 Nightly build 14.1.

But there is a good news for all of us that Cyanogen is now going to work with google itself i.e. now they will not work on 2 different operating systems , instead they are going to work with the google on single OS which will result in more enhanced and Customized Official Android ROM's.
